Rachel Dulitz surged into a 6-point lead in the Living Room Times Bowl Pick ’em Contest on Friday, improving her prediction record to 16-6 with a 3-1 day, and increasing her distance from the rest of the field. Her nearest competitors are just 12-10.

Dulitz has 23 points out of a possible 31, with a maximum of 29 points still to be earned in the remaining 13 bowls. (Six of those bowls, worth fourteen of the points, will take place Saturday.)

She is followed by Derek McDonald and Becky Loy with 17 points, and then a huge logjam of contestants with 16 points. Full current standings are visible to contestants here (along with everyone’s picks), and visible to everyone here. Contestants can play around with “what-if” scenarios here.

Dulitz’s predicted winners Saturday are Texas Tech (over Northwestern), Penn State (over Florida), Alabama (over Michigan State), Michigan (over Mississippi State), TCU (over Wisconsin) and Oklahoma (over UConn).

Her current margin is equivalent to two BCS bowl games (worth 3 points apiece), or three of tomorrow’s other games (2 apiece)
