Well, another sprout of putative Presidential Timber falls whilst still in the Sapling stage. But let us look on the Bright side. Now Senator Ensign won’t feel so lonely & forlorn in the Forget-About-2012 Republican Club. / Don’t cry for Me, Lindsey Graham ;>
But speaking of good ol’ buds, did you see that Gov’nuh Barbour is to hold a Fundraiser in New Hampshire?(!)…..
When Haley comes up to Concord town, yippee, kye-yay,
They’ll give him the Yankee nose-look-down, hip hip, hooray,
All the Hampshiremen will say, perplexed,
“We’re Republicans — but that Dialect!”
And they’ll all Live Free when Haley goes rolling home.

Nowait, the 3-ring Circus logo should be Sister Sarah’s. Supporting cast of Newt, Mitt, & Pastor Huckster: send in the Clowns. 🙂 But actually, that big ol’ Barbour boy is a right broad-Based coalition all by his Own self. ;>
Now as to the Prematurity of my Speculation, (1) when ya get to be My age sonny, you’re glad if yer still able to Speculate at all ;] and furthermore (2) I figured Sanford’s presidential goose was, if not entirely Cooked, at least beginning to Brown quite nicely just from the Roasting generated by the, um, Erraticism of his behavior. IOW if he had returned from the Argentine with documentary proof that he’d merely been, oh I dunno, riding Bareback across the Pampas for to clear his Mind, he’d still have been in the Soup re 2012, because a state CEO going AWOL Incognito is not the recommended way to Look Presidential. :\
