A rather impressive amount of insanity

Not much to say other than that really. Although I must ask Brendan, are you seriously allowed to file a law suit for whatever the f* you want and the defendant actually has to waist their time and money dealing with it? I propose the new federal court department of WTF. All torts have to go through the WTF department and can just end there if a reasonable person or group of people, if you like, go WTF to the suit. A nice filter before the defendant even has to waist their time with it. All cease and desists letters have to go to the WTF department first also. If the board does go WTF you are fined $1,000 for submitting the suit. Prosecutors should also have to go through the WTF department. Perhaps then they will stop harassing teenagers for stupid teenage crap with cellphones and instead be a bit more constructive in dealing with teenagers that do stupid stuff with their cellphones.

You know, during the short amount of time I worked as a receptionist for a movie company there was a schizophrenic guy who came in a few times claiming identity/personality theft. Apparently character of James Bond was/is based on him (so they were stealing his identity, see? =0) and he was upset for not being financially compensated when Bond is so obviously him. Oh, and also John Ritter’s character on Three’s Company “and every other John Ritter character for that matter.” I still get this funny image of John Ritter as James Bond. The guy totally said all of this while leaning against the counter like he was delivering straight-faced pick-up lines.

There’s another guy at my home church who’s always trying to pull crazy crap like this with the city council (used to be church council, bible study, whatever, too) or whoever else will give him some sort of audience. It is crazy, and funny in a WTF pull-your-hair-out way, but kind of sad too.

They wouldn’t have to pay the thousand bucks, they get off on insanity, and even if they were made to pay you wouldn’t be able to stop them again with the threat of paying $1000. They’d be convinced it would go to court and they’d be vindicated and everyone would see the truth, finally. Quite literally crazy.
