Iowa and VaTech survived scares from Arkansas St and Duke, respectively, and Sparty beat Michigan. Hahaha. Washington leads ND 7-3 after 1Q.
Watched the second half of the Michigan-Michigan State game. Two impressions:
1) Forcier has more heart than any guy that young, that physically unimpressive, has any business having. He looks like he should be bringing the water bottles in, not bring his team down the field for a late tying touchdown.
2) Michigan State looked awfully solid defensively, especially for a team coming off three consecutive losses. Come to think of it, the game was just the type of mini-upset that might have led a conference to claim it was a war, assuming that equity wasn’t already taken.
