Its a remarkable accomplishment, 8 years with no losses by more than a touchdown. ABC just had a shot of Carroll, about 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter, and as much as any coach you’ll ever see, the dude looked like his head would asplode.
I played for a guy like that in high school; he ended up in my state’s hall of fame. Never knew another coach who hated losing near as much. A lot of coaches yell. Carroll looks like he’s about to commit murder in the first, with insanity as a reasonable defense. Whole ‘nother level.
