Given the progress that’s been made so far, I’m curious as to the defintion of “meaningful”.

Brendan, I am surprised by the complete lack of weather-related posts for the last month or so. Are things just that boring this year? Or do you have a secret Weather Nerd 2.0 website that is only for your premium subscribers?

I don’t think you can blame college football for taking up all your time, because I think this year’s season was considerably LESS exciting than last year’s…

Or now that you are in Colorado you are just so insulated from hurricanes that they no longer instill the fear that they used to? Denver does have very mild weather.

Haha. No, there is no secret weather blog. The main reason is the same as the reason for my overall decrease in blogging: whereas last football/hurricane season, I had only one daughter, now I have TWO. And I also have a more demanding job than I did for most of last fall (i.e., I’m practicing law, not clerking). So I just don’t have as much time to blog, period, nor even to personally pay attention to weather events elsewhere.

If another Katrina was threatening, I’d certainly pay attention and blog about it, but regular old severe-weather stories just don’t register anymore because I’m too damn busy. (And, yes, what little time I do have to blog is largely devoted to blogging about college football and other matters.)

It’s probably something along the lines of “Borrow billions from the Chinese to give to China to make them more competitive against our industries.”
