Upon further review, the “26th all-time” is domestic gross, adjusted for inflation, whereas the “highest-grossing movie EVER” is unadjusted worldwide gross, so it’s not quite an apples-to-apples comparison. Unfortunately, Box Office Mojo doesn’t appear to have a worldwide adjusted-for-inflation gross (I suppose because, er, inflation varies in different parts of the world).
