Apparently the person who wrote the headline didn’t since she called him the “governor candidate”. At least they got it write in the body of the article.
Plus, the word gubernatorial is the best. I still can’t believe that word has a serious use in the English language. “He said GUBER!”
So when did y’all start speaking English so good in the South ?
