You know, I obviously hope USC doesn’t get a postseason ban… but if it’s gonna happen, this would be the ideal season for it, from my perspective, because it would free me up to unabashedly root for Boise State as the Broncos mount the first-ever realistic campaign for a mid-major BCS title.
… and then Boise St. gets blown out by Virginia Tech in Week 1.
Come on, especially if USC got banned from post season play, that’s even more reason to cheer them to the undefeated season that they’re guaranteed with Kiffin as coach. It would only stand to reason with the USC getting screwed out of the BCS championship game every season angle.
