USC doctors wouldn’t clear him medically; he’s been looking for another school whose doctors would clear him.
Still, losing two LBs sucks since we’re so thin at that position, even though one wasn’t medically cleared and the other was a perennial backup.
I thought he was transferring because of the BS sanctions. It’s a relief, for some reason, to read that he’s leaving because USC cares more about the health of their athletes than winning football games.
