    Mark this down as possibly the first time we’ve ever whole-heartedly agreed on something relating simultaneously to USC and LSU football. 🙂

    FIGHT ON TROJANS!!! SCHEDULE (AND BEAT) THE TIGERS!!!

    Talk about your high risk proposals. If USC wins while on sanctions and Kiffin as coach its a huge statement towards Pac-10 superiority over the SEC. On the other hand if they lose, its a major sore point for Trojans who are allready hurting enough as it is thanks to the NCAA’s FIFA like behavior.

    I find it amusing that LSU finally considers signing up for the grudge match after:

    A) Saban leaves;
    B) Carroll leaves; and
    C) USC gets weakened by sanctions.

    Coincidence? I think not.

    Has USC ever proposed a “grudge match” before, only to be rejected by LSU? I was unaware or have forgotten about that, if so. Indeed, there’s no indication that either school is proposing or considering such a thing even now — just a writer making a suggestion, and fans salivating at the prospect.
