The Living Room Times Podcast, Episode 2

Topics discussed include a “Liberty Tree” update, parental #PANIC!, the hypocrisy of conservative political correctness (as seen in the California gubernatorial “whore” kerfuffle), the gospel of Dave Ramsey, what farmer’s markets can tell us about our sex lives, and the fact that “gas exchange is really fun.” Plus, our first Spousal Three-Minute “Who Cares” Challenge FAIL!

(Totally unmentioned: USC’s two-game losing streak — the Trojans’ first losing streak since we were juniors at ‘SC! Because if we don’t talk about it, we can pretend it isn’t happening! Actually, I just forgot to bring it up.)

Listening to the podcast, I realize that our Dave Ramsey discussion didn’t segue into some of the broader issues we could have easily discussed — the overleveraging of America, the Higher Education Bubble — nor did we really exhaust the topic of who Ramsey’s core audience really is, to what extent he’s useful and to what extent he’s a zealot, etc. Frankly, I was so stunned when Becky basically conceded my position on the narrower issue that we started out with, I didn’t know what to say. 🙂

Anyway… we stayed under 45 minutes this time! Yay! You can subscribe with iTunes here.
