Boo-freakin’-hoo. I remember two years ago, when a wave of Republicans were swept out in the House, Senate, and administration. Normally, when you lose your job on the Hill or at the White House, there are plenty of lobbying and consulting jobs for you to choose from, but with A. the economy going completely south, and B. DC flipping from purple to dark blue, tons of Republicans with White House and Hill experience couldn’t get a returned phone call. At least the Dems still have an administration and a Senate majority to look to for potential employment — that drives a need for Dem-leaning lobbyists and consultants.
