This isn’t necessarily my position, but I’ll offer the libertarian response:

This bill grows the size, scope, and reach of government measurably in the ag sector, making it even harder for smaller farmers (including “sustainable”, grassfed, organic and other botique food providers) to compete with heavily subsidized agribusiness — all in the name of “health” and “safety”. Well, this is a slippery slope. At what point do we reduce the speed limit to 5mph, in the name of “safety” and preventing deadly crashes? Naked body scans and full pat-downs before every flight to ensure nobody is carrying a bomb or weapon? This is the classic case of giving up freedom for security, and when you do that, you deserve neither.

    Bwahahahahahahaha.

So I guess you deserve neither? Because, uh, you give up freedom just but the existence of a government exercising power of you. Specifically, the existence of a police force that has the right to question you is giving up freedom for security.
