Then in lieu of new content, he moves Leno to 10pm to boost ratings. Then he moves Leno back to the Tonight Show, and pays $40 million to destroy Conan.
An ordinary executive would have used the $40 million to keep Southland and develop a new drama. But not Zucker. Instead of spending to create quality TV, he spends to destroy it.
